WHY SWISS WATCHES?
The term ‘Swiss made’ denotes some of the world's most meticulously crafted and dependable products, particularly in the realm of watches. It primarily relates to the movement, or the internal mechanism responsible for timekeeping. Swiss made watches are granted this designation under specific laws established in Switzerland, initially enacted in 1971 and revised in 1995 and only if they satisfy a set of conditions. Firstly, its movement must originate from Switzerland; secondly, the movement must be encased within the borders of Switzerland; and finally, the manufacturer must conduct the final inspection of the watch at a location within Switzerland.
